Daren woke up. All of his memories started to come back instantly, like it was some sort of infection spreading. He remembered the Arch Demon, Alistair being crowned as king, and...most things were fuzzy, except waking up in the white expanse. He basically had a adventure, meeting extraordinary people, beyond the magics of Fereldan and Thedas. He even met a native from Fereldan, which was a mage. He wasn't harsh against mages, especially against this one. They became best friends, in Daren's view anyways. They even shared Antivan Ale. He smiled, but he needed to stop thinking about his friend. He was on grass, and he was by a large tree. It was probably the largest there. The Fereldan Grey Warden, got up, and looked around. The last memory he remembered was him aiming his bow at a gremlin, and killing it.

But other then that, it was nothing else. It felt like he was suspended in time for months, years even. The area around him looked like Fereldan, almost, but there was a crashed ship a mile a way which he could barely even see. He checked his back for his bow, but it wasn't there. He cursed under his breath, but felt his dagger in place. He had a slight sigh of relief, he even has his armor on from last time. There were trees, grass, plants, it was basically a grassland. It was a paradise, but from what he remembered, there was supposed to be a mansion, and a white expanse. This was completely different. There was not even any civilization in sight. Just a plain of grass and trees. And there was a sun, perfectly in the air, dispersing the right amount of radiation for a planet to survive.

Daren got up, and he pulled his dagger out of his sheath. Everything was perfectly serene, but this wasn't right. Something wasn't right here. He remembered many people, and he remembered firing an arrow, mostly everything in the white expanse. He could care less about his trinket right now, it'd probably appear later.

Where was everyone?

Hawke's eyes fluttered open, causing him to groan at the sudden assault on his eyes by the sun. His mind started racing, as he couldn't immediately recall what he had last been doing. He vaguely remembered an altercation with Isabella, and of course, the Qunari... And the Arishok. That was bad. What was he doing laying here anyway?

Hawke suddenly sat up, his head looking wildly for something he recognized. Beyond the grass and trees was what appeared to be an endless field of white. Something in the back of Hawke's mind registered it as familiar, but that didn't make sense, did it? Grumbling, the mage got to his feet. "Hellllloooo," he called out, not really expecting a response. Though, when silence answered him, he huffed. "Well, I can't imagine I had time to get drunk off my ass last I remember, but who knows?"

The mage shrugged, picking up his staff and starting on his way through the strange forest.

Daren was walking around, trying to figure out what he could possibly do at the moment. There was that ship over there, it was hardly even a wooden one though. It was made of some sort of steel, perhaps silverite, but otherwise, it was crashed and there was still smoke coming out of it. He walked through the field of trees, and he crouched, hearing walking, very slight, but walking nonetheless. He pushed his back against the tree, looking out from the side of the tree. He seen someone familiar, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. He ran, making sound as light as a feather. He learned how to do this thanks to a trainer back at his castle. The trainer taught him everything, to be stealthy, to use daggers, to successfully use a bow. That was how he had gotten his bow, and he felt almost naked without it, despite him wearing his armor. Daren moved from tree to tree, following the person. He recognized a familiar staff, and his eyes widened.

He could put his finger on it now; it was Hawke! While he was still behind the tree, he grabbed his dagger, just in case he was wrong. He opened his mouth. "H-hawke? Is that you?" He said, without showing his face. If it wasn't then, he was more then capable to defend himself in this case. There was plenty of cover around him, the trees, and they made perfect branches to ambush others.

It soon became apparent to Hawke that he felt like someone was watching him. Of course, when one is alone and in a strange place, it's normal to have that feeling. The mage shrugged it off at first, but the feeling didn't go away. It gnawed at the back of Hawke's mind relentlessly until he was completely on edge, his head moving rapidly to catch whatever may be hiding in the trees. That's why, when Daren called out his name, Hawke practically jumped out of his pants and fired a bolt of electricity toward the source of the sound.

"S-Show yourself!" he said, attempting to push down the embarrassing amount of fear that he had just experienced.

The bolt of electricity hit the tree he was hiding behind. Daren realized that perhaps, not everyone remembered the Mansion. But that voice definitely was Hawkes. Hoping that he wouldn't get hit immediately as soon as he got out of his cover, he walked out into Hawkes line of sight. "...You don't remember me?"

Hawke pointed his staff at the figure emerging from behind the tree. After a moment's hesitation, Hawke realized he had seen this man before. "Darren?" The mage meant to say more, but he was left utterly speechless. This was the Hero of Fereldan and they had met before... But when? Hawke shook his head, starting to realize what was going on. He didn't want to believe it, but it seemed he had found his way to the White Expanse yet again. Right? Right. "I forgot all about this," he said, looking up into the blank white sky. "I don't even remember how I-how we-got out. Or did we even get out...?"

Daren could sense his concern. "I never got out, i woke up, again, in this place. It seems different though, theres grass and trees, just no Mansion like last time." He said, with a grim voice. He always wanted to see Fereldan, to see what he had saved, and if he could, see her again. Daren crossed his arms, and although Hawke couldn't see it at all, The hero was pondering whether or not he'll be able to get out of this hell at all. It seems like it was bounded to him in some sort of way, or vice versa. He looked at Hawke again and sighed. "So, what should we do?

The mage frowned. It seemed he had been able to return home for a while, even without having to remember his time here. A blessing, surely, but now he was stuck here again. What was up with that? He still had no idea what this place even was. As for Daren, Hawke had to wonder what had happened to him during his absence. Had he really been stuck here all this time, or was there more to it?

Sighing, Hawke shook his head. "Perhaps the mansion, or some other housing, exists in the forest somewhere. It doesn't appear to be that large, but you never know..."

"True." He said, looking around him. His thoughts actually drifted to his armor, it was becoming boring to wear it around, and it was lightly made, so it couldn't really offer much in terms of defense. But he was a rogue, and rogues like to stay in light armor. Daren really didn't have anything to do at all except for looking for the old mansion. And when he was in Fereldan, all he had to do was hang around and someone in the group would suggest somewhere to start. Even Alistair suggested going to Arl Eamon first. The hero looked out in the distance. "Hawke, maybe if we are here, there are others here also, like last time."

"That would make sense..." The Warden didn't appear to have much idea where to start looking, though Hawke wasn't sure he had much of an idea either. "Let's circle around the forest, that should be a good starting point."

"I agree." He said, looking down to the ground for the moment. He started walking around the forest, and he even spotted an Elfroot. He didn't know that this forest had it, so he just took it for later on, it can be make into a poultice. Daren allowed Hawke to lead, he didn't mind. "...So, any relationships you have had?" He said, sparking up a random discussion.

Hawke furrowed his brow at Daren's odd question. The mage didn't usually start a conversation off with "So, have you banged anyone?", but he guessed Daren simply wasn't shy about these things. Hawke shook his head and began to say "Well I-", but Zessoku's sudden appearance caused him to pause in his tracks. He immediately readied himself and pointed his staff toward the girl. She... looked familiar, at least. "You... Can you help us?" he repeated her question, confused. "Do you know where we are?"

The fereldan grey warden watched as the two talked for a moment, and Daren vaguely remembered someone of this persons description a while back at the old mansion. Ironically, he ignored her most of the time. Daren also watched Hawke do a stylish fire 'spell' with his staff. And when Hawke looked at Daren, he nodded, acknowledging that he remembered her.

Hawke stared up at the girl as she climbed the tree. He supposed it made sense for her not to trust them, but still, she was was rather strange. The people he remembered from before had seemed pretty normal enough, albeit from worlds far different from his own. Hawke had to ask himself, just what kind of people were going to show up this time? Hmm... Putting the thought aside, the mage sighed and turned back to Daren. "Suppose we should continue our search without her, then?"

"Yeah." The warden appeared to be wracked with thought, but it was unknown what he was actually thinking about. He followed Hawke without questions.
